Celebrate the season through clay and creativity! In this class, students will explore slab-building techniques to make trinket trays! Ideal for holiday treats or everyday use like your car keys! While wheel-throwing is popular, hand building is the oldest pottery method, using only hands and simple tools. You’ll learn the basics of working with slabs to craft your unique holiday tray! Perfect for beginners or returning students looking to celebrate the season.

Get into the holiday spirit with clay! In this 2-hour handbuilding class, you’ll learn a variety of techniques to create and paint unique holiday ornaments. Perfect to gift or keep for yourself. In this one time class, you will learn about the materials and techniques and paint two pre-fired ornaments, and then try your hand at sculpting 6-8 of your own designs! Shape, texture, and decorate your pieces using ceramics tools and colorful underglazes!

Join us for this two-part specialty workshop to learn the fundamentals of plaster mold making. Students will create a two-part mold from an original ceramic piece or object while gaining an understanding of plaster mixing and slip casting basics. This is perfect for ceramicists looking to learn how to  create duplicates of their work more efficiently.
