How to Get Started & Purchase Creative Time:

If you are interested in joining our studio for Creative Time, please use the form below or email jordyn.gdla@gmail.com with the subject line “CREATIVE TIME” and follow these steps so that we can best assist you:

1. Include a brief summary of your previous ceramic experience. If you have not taken a class at our studio, please also include current work samples.

2. Let us know if you have any gift credit that was purchased on our previous booking platform (Mindbody) from before April 29, 2022 so that we can activate the credit within our new system.

If we think Creative Time is a good fit for you after reviewing your materials, you will be given access to a private portal for you to start booking your own sessions. Please note: If you have never been to our studio, you must schedule your first Creative Time visit during the following times so that a member of our staff can go over the facilities with you and set you up with a shelf: Mondays 12:30pm–3:30pm, Wednesdays 12:30pm–3:30pm or Saturdays 9:00am–12:00pm.

How to Book Your Creative Time:

Booking Creative Time is only available to those who contact us directly and receive privately listed links from our staff. Once you have received approval, please do not share these links with friends. It is very important for our intimate studio to maintain a shared sense of trust and responsibility when it comes to sharing the space and materials provided.

9:00am –12:00pm Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
12:30pm–3:30pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays
6:00pm–9:00pm Sundays
7:00pm–10:00pm Wednesdays

*We almost always offer this schedule but do make some changes from time to time, which will be reflected in the booking system.

Cancellation Policy for Creative Time:

You may Reschedule or Cancel individual sessions by yourself online through our booking system without penalty up until 24 hours in advance of your scheduled session. If you purchased an individual drop-in session, you will receive full credit for the session. If you booked using an active 6-Pack Bundle, the credit for a canceled visit will be returned automatically to your 6-Pack Bundle to be used until the package expires. Each 6-Pack Bundle expires 65 days after purchase. Please note: this is different from our previous system which activated a bundle upon the first scheduled session. Unused sessions do not roll over and no refunds or credit will be granted for individually missed sessions. 

Canceling after the 24-hour mark means losing the session unless you e-mail us to cancel because you have been exposed to COVID or are feeling sick. You can cancel for this reason at any time. We will always make sure your credit is maintained if your late cancellation is for this reason. This is an honor system, and we trust you to both be cautious about potentially exposing our staff and other students, and to respect how difficult this past year has been for businesses like ours when taking advantage of our cancellation policy.

Creative Time Responsibilities and Sick Policy:

We ask that all Creative Time visitors take special care to keep the studio clean and respect one another’s space and time as the studio is a communal space. You must leave the studio as clean or cleaner than you found it and use the space during your scheduled session time. Failure to properly clean up, leave on time, or follow COVID-19 protocols will result in losing Creative Time permission.

While you are working in the studio, both front and back doors must be open for cross-ventilation and the fan near the front door turned on. We ask that all students and staff use hand sanitizer or wash your hands as soon as they enter the studio and frequently throughout their visit. You are responsible for cleaning and disinfecting all your tools and work stations before you leave each session. Please bring your own hand towel and apron if you choose to wear one. To maintain limited capacity and avoid overlap between parties, you may only use the studio during your specific allotted time and may not bring any one without a paid reservation with you.

Sick Policy: If you are feeling unwell, please do not come to the studio. We will make exceptions to our last minute cancellation policy for illnesses. We encourage you to COVID test if you have been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive, even if you're symptom-free. Thank you for helping us keep our studio a healthy place to be!

Are you interested in Creative Time but want some additional guidance?

We have one Creative Time session per week, during which one of our teachers will be working on site for the entire shift just to work with you! These are great sessions to take advantage of if you have questions about techniques, glazing, studio tools, etc. The teacher will be there to give demos and assist with your creative journey however they can. Think of this like a mixed-levels class you can drop into from time to time.

During other Creative Time sessions, a tech may be on site to answer brief questions. However, they will be focused on studio management tasks and will not provide hands-on instruction.

Do you have an unpredictable schedule or plans to go out of town?

Due to limited space in our small studio and to ensure that everyone has a shelf for their creations, we cannot accommodate inactive shelves. Priority shelves are given to those with active 6-Pack Bundles.

If you will be out of the studio for more than 2 weeks at a time, you will need to clear your shelf unless you email us to let us know your plans for returning (i.e. Subject Line: Creative Time - Returning Soon Month/Day). Any work that comes out of the kiln will be boxed for you to pick up or complete when you return. Thank you so much for understanding as we are a tiny but mighty studio.
