Pottery Events
We want to bring a variety of fun clay and non clay related events to you in 2024. From cacao circles and flower arranging, to making your pet's portrait out of clay! How fun to be creative this year in many different ways!!!

HAND-BUILDING YOUR PRECIOUS PET
Thursday, April 11th ⋅ 7:00pm - 9pm
Price: $65 Per Person
All profits will be donated to Dogs Without Borders
In this workshop Vicki will guide you through hand-building your beloved pet, beginning with creating the basic body, positioning the limbs and tail to capture movement, building the face, and adding the coat through texture. At the end of the workshop you should have one animal or reptile figurine (roughly 4” x 6”) ready for bisque firing.
Prep Work: Observe the pet you plan to use as a model for your figurine. Take pictures, especially closeups of the face, nose, mouth, eyes and ears. How is your pet positioned when sleeping? How does it typically sit? What are unique qualities or characteristics you could highlight?

CINCO DE MAYO SALSA AND GAUC BOWLS

Price: $95 Per Person
Join us for the afternoon to snack on chips and salsa and enjoy a crisp beer while making pottery! In this 2.5 hour class, our teachers will help you create a hand built 3-leg pedestal style guac bowl, and guide you through the process of throwing a small salsa bowl on the wheel.
After your class our staff will glaze your respective guac and salsa bowls in matte black and warm neutral matte glazes. You will see your finished work upon pick up! These bowls will be fun to display with delicious dips and chips while hosting, or when whipping up a single serving of chips and guac for yourself on any given night!
